Disney Epcot Minecraft Lesson If you have been following us for a while then you know we not only love our #MinecraftMondays but love any chance to throw in our Disney lessons too. While I do hope you all get a chance to visit Disney World one day, we are too far at the moment to go in person. However we found a fun mod to work in. Now maybe you didn’t know but Epcot opened on October 1, 1982. When Epcot opened it had two sections, Future World and World Showcase. We will be fo using on the World Showcase as you can see from the Minecraft pictures above as well as the Epcot map below. There are 11 countries featured as of right now. They are China, Mexico, Morocco, Germany, Norway, Canada, France, United States of America, Italy, United Kingdom and Japan. Each country is represented by Food, Activity, Characters (on occasion and more. China China Pavilion features traditional Chinese food, shopping and the attraction Reflections of China. On occasion you can also meet Mulan, Mushu and Captain Li Shang. Mexico Mexico features traditional Mexican food, shopping, and the attraction Gran Fiesta Tour starring the three Caballeros.Morocco Morocco features traditional Middle Eastern food, dining and occasion you can meet Aladdin and Jasmine. Germany In the Germany Pavilion you can find German food, shopping, a miniature train village and on occasion you can meet Snow White. Norway In Norway Pavilion you can try traditional Norwegian food, shopping, see Frozen Forever After and meet characters from Frozen like Elsa and Anna. Canada The Canada Pavilion features food, shopping, Circle Vision 360 and gardens. France The France Pavilion has french food, shopping and Impressions de France. United States of America The United States Pavilion features the American Adventure Attraction. Italy The Italy Pavilion has food and shopping. United Kingdom The United Kingdom features British food, shopping and on occasion you can meet Winnie the Pooh and his friends, Mary Poppins and Alice. Japan The Japan Pavilion features Japanese food, shopping and the Bijutsu-Kan Gallery. There is so much more to do in Epcot but I wanted to give you glimpse of the World Showcase. Have your children use Google to find more about Epcot and challenge them to add on to the world. What other countries would you add to the World Showcase and Why?
