Black History Month

Well it is February, a month dedicated to learning about Black History in the world. We learn about racism, inequality, slavery, micro aggressions, white privilege and so much more. There are many amazing Black Historical Figures (both past and current) and learning on the struggles People of Color still face today. As educators we should be extending these points through out the year and not just leaving it until February.

Here is the list I choose to do this year. Each link will have history of the figure, pictures and resources. There are many more we won’t cover this month but don’t be afraid to add on to what you plan on doing.
