Chocolate Cupcakes with a Chocolate American Buttercream
Happy Belated Birthday to my Dad. We’ve been off line working hard. Apologies for not posting much. Ive been planning out a couple of courses, which one has launched and the other is on its way. I’ll have more info on it on http://www.homeschoolinginnyc.org, which will have printables available.
Anyway, we celebrated my Dad’s, aka Pop Pop’s, 74th birthday. Matthew and I made delicious Bon Bons as a gift since he doesn’t want anything except Chocolate Cake. Every year all we hear is how we never make him chocolate cake. Listen I make him chocolate cake often, but now he really can’t complain as he got it. Now yes I did saw cake, this was cupcake style but i use the same recipe x2 for stacked cake. I just didn’t feel like baking all day, stacking, freezing etc for a cake, especially when my fridge is overfilled with leftover, milk and groceries.
