With 2 and a half weeks left of Culinary school, we just completed our chocolate Showpieces. 2 days of planning, tempering and sculpting only using chocolate. Yes everything you see in the pictures are made from chocolate. It’s amazing what you can do. 7 and half hours later this is what each group created. Our theme was spring and I think we Nailed It!!!! Way to go class. My partner and I created a Mother Nature inspired sculpture. Each tile was hand painted, the eye was gracefully sculpted and our elements were airbrushed to give it a pop of color. It wasn’t exactly what we were aiming at but it looked great. Managed to get pictures before our fire piece fell off. Not angry though since we were done. …. on to the final 13 days.
