Cinderella Movie Night
It is Friday, I mean FRIYAY, and that means it is movie night time. Woot. Yes we absolutely adore movie nights. Now in our house we tend to make it a big event and go all out. With it being the first official Friday in fall, well we are going with the pumpkin theme and using the classic Cinderella story to kick us off. Now there are a lot of versions of Cinderella out there, including the new Camilla Cabello one recently released on Prime. You will need to make up your mind on which one you decided to watch. For us we personally choose the Disney animated films which include Cinderella (1950), Cinderella II: Dreams Come True (2002) and Cinderella III: A Twist in Time (2007).

There are others, which are live action. Below are only a few of the many but they are all live action.

There are several book versions as well of the story. It is a great way to read the same story from several countries and different angles. You can ask your children questions like which did they like and why? What was the lesson in the story? Who did they relate most to? and so much more.

Those look like wonderful recipes. I actually saw the Cendrillon short film by Georges Melies not too long ago which was the first film adaptation. Melies even was an influence on Walt Disney himself.
I haven’t watched that one yet.
I was just curious. It was a quirky watch and interesting to know from a film history standpoint.
