This post is centered around the obvious theme of Construction however the age range is from ages 2-6 or preschool to 1st grade.

Starting with a list of books to use, I find it best to read during Circle time. Bedtime is fine too but there’s something thrilling about construction vehicles.

Now you can scroll through Pinterest as they have many more ideas but below is what we did with this theme.

I used the Letter C (as pictured below) to create a construction vehicle.

We also used shapes to make his favorite construction vehicles

We also used legos to make vehicles.

I then used his toy construction vehicles to create a sensory bin, like below. We used kinetic sand, dirt and orbeez at different times but beans work as well.

And lastly we would walk around to find a construction site to point out the trucks, since we cant do that during this time I recommend putting on a YouTube video or using I’m Dirty which is on Prime
