Frozen Themed Movie Night
Well its a #MovienightFriday and what a good night to have a fun day with Frozen when we are completed surrounded by snow and having yet another snow storm. Honestly, I’m over the winter this year despite having been home this entire time. I am so ready for Spring but if you guys our on our Facebook Group Homeschooling in NYC, you see my kiddo LOVES snow. So we choose the Frozen movies which includes Frozen, Frozen II, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure and Once Upon a Snowman. Disney + also has LEGO Disney Frozen: Northern Lights, Into the Unknown: Making Disney’s Frozen II (mini series) as well as for background Arendelle Castle Yule Log.

So as you know, besides actually watching the movies, we do make it educational as well. You can watch the Into the Unknown series which shows how the film is made and call it film class, and go through the history of animation and movies and TV. Other than that we also plan, budget and cook a themed meal, read the original story (Snow Queen), colored in some coloring pages and had fun crafting and a big bonus for my kiddo is finding Frozen Themed Worlds in Minecraft (stay tuned for that lesson).

So we found a couple of recipes we really enjoyed as desserts for our night while we ate Matthew’s favorite meal of Lemon Butter Chicken.
