How to Train Your Dragon Movie Night

It’s the first movie night of the year and the kiddo choose How to Train Your Dragon. We have been binging these movies and show, all but the third movie is available on Netflix.

While we do bring the Scandinavian element into it, plus a bit of viking history lesson, we mainly focused on our ELA elements.

The Who: Who are the characters? Protagonist vs Antagonist? What are their characteristics/ how would you describe them?

The What: What is the goal? What is the motivation? What is the trope being used?

The Where: Where is it set? What country?

Now the real movie is based off Iceland and Sweden, so we explored the map to find the countries then explored virtually.

We hope you have as much fun as we did. Enjoy the activity and Menu below.
