Luca Movie Night
Luca, came out last week on June 18th. It is a Pixar/Disney film that was released both theatrically and straight to Disney + without a VIP premier. We immediately had to watch, not just because it is a new Disney film and I am a Disney Adult and Disney Film Historian, but also because we love having movie nights.
Movie Nights can not only be fun but also super educational, even watching animated films. The 5 Ws (Who, What, Why, Where and When) cover ELA and Geography. Based off that we theme up our meals and crafts based off the film. So with Luca being based off the coast of Italy, we thought we would do a traditional Italian meal with a a bit of a mermaid/merman spin.
