Minecraft + Learning = Hours of fun

Okay yes you heard it here. M is on Minecraft often playing when not doing workbooks. Now I totally understand some parents don’t like devices, that is totally fine, Pinterest has lots of ideas for that but I’m sure you will be burned out as a parent. The great thing about Minecraft is that there are a few different ways to play.

1. Survival

You have lives and need to manage to survive by scavenging for tools and looting but avoid the golems, creepers, spiders, wolves, skeletons and more

2. Creative

You have everything accessible to you in the inventory to build as much or little as you want

3. Adventure

Similar to survival except majority of blocks can’t be broken. Adventure is great for game play and others maps.

The great thing about Minecraft is that you can find lots of maps to explore, skins to try on and other add ons. M has only been playing for 6 months or so but he’s learned quite a lot thanks to YouTube, books and just exploring on his own. I also give him challenges to build, which I’ll feature here, same will go with legos, so check out that post soon.

Another benefit is your child can learn to code, and M also uses his imagination so check our YouTube channel to see more Minecraft. But we will have lots more posted on their as well.
