Monte Cristo Sandwiches

Serves 4


12 bread slices

8 slices of roasted turkey

8 slices of Haravti (Gouda will work as well)


3 eggs

1/4 cup milk

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 tablespoons butter

Blackberry jam


1. Start with spreading out your bread slices, 3 per sandwich. On 2 slices for each sandwich spread mayo

2. On the mayo spread slices place one slice havarti and one slice roasted turkey

3. With the 3rd slice finish one sandwich and flip to make a triple decker, repeat for all the sandwiches

4. Cut the crusts off and cut in half, this seals the bread

5. Lightly cover in Saran Wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes up to 6 hours

6. Once it’s ready to be cooked, mix your eggs and milk in a bowl

7. In a pan heat the vegetable oil and butter together

8. Dip the sandwich halves in the egg mixture and cook until both sides are brown

9. Serve with a side of blackberry jam
