National Dairy Month
It’s #TuesdayTips and this week we will be covering National Dairy Month. Every June since 1937, it has been celebrated or well used to promote drinking more milk. The National Dairy Council came out to also say that this is the perfect time to get the nutrients like calcium and potassium. Dairy products like milk contain nine essential nutrients which may help to better manage your weight, reduce your risk for high blood pressure, osteoporosis and certain cancers. Whether it’s protein to help build and repair the muscle tissue of active bodies or vitamin A to help maintain healthy skin, dairy products are a natural nutrient powerhouse.
