National Picnic Month

Bringing you another #TuesdayTips but switching gears this week. July is National Picnic Month, although you can picnic whenever you want. We find late spring through early fall to be the easiest to have a picnic in parks, on our own property, or even on the beach. We happen to live in an area where it is cold and snowy from the beginning of November to the end of March, so anything between then will have to be an indoor picnic. For kids, that is fun, for adults well all I have to say is “ouch my back.”

Matthew really enjoys bringing our out picnic basket to have family time. There is a great spot across town at the College Education Center, which is open to the public. As long as you bring out everything you brought in. There are long trails, picnic tables, a place for a campfire, labyrinth and some great fishing spots. It is beautiful and fun exploring the area.

So we bring to you a delicious round up of great recipes to enjoy at your own picnic. You can never go wrong with sandwiches and fruit but to switch it up here is the list.
