Oliver and Company Movie Night
It’s another #Movienightfriday and we are transporting ourselves back in time to the 80’s in NYC. This movie is super underrated and so much fun for kids, but will also suit your New York History lesson, as well as music, as we sing along, especially to “Why Should I Worry.”
Anyway, for the New York lesson, we used a map of Manhattan and pinned where scenes took place. Then we were able to google map/earth./street view to see the difference over the last 40 years. We even took a field trip to these locations.

As for the meal, we really wanted to have authenticity so we made what New York is best known for, Bagels, Pizza, Bacon egg and cheese and much more. New York has some amazing food.

We hope you enjoy your movie night as much as we did.

But this easy bagel recipe is AMAZING.” – Nikki
