Peter Pan Movie Night

It’s #movienightfriday and this lesson is a bit more interesting in terms of geographical location as Peter Pan starts in London, England but then goes to Neverland, which is mythological, however there is a theory that the island is based off an island off the coast of Belize.

We also had a triple feature with this one, as there was a sequel, Return to Neverland, and a non Disney version (2003), which is our absolute favorite version.

We started off by reading Peter Pan by J.M Barrie on our audible, then we went on a lesson about set building with the live action version.

We dived into green screen, editing and much more on how movies are made.

We then made traditional English food, as that is where Jane and Wendy are from.

In the second film, we talked a bit about the Blitz during World War II, which is when the film is set.

We hope you have fun as much as we did.
