Snow White and the Seven Dwarves Movie Night

It’s #movienightfriday and we are transporting back in time to watch Disney’s first feature length film to be released, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

For older kids, I recommend comparing the animated film to the live action, Snow White and the Huntsman, as well as the original fairy tale, which just as a warning is very dark.

Any who, we then mapped out where Snow White took place which was in Germany, specifically Bad Wildungen area of Hesse, Germany. Now granted, the story is set in the around the 1500-1530s, so a lot has changed.

We explored more of Germany than where Snow White was set and made traditional German food.

We hope you enjoy this lesson as much as we did.
