Well Turning Red is officially out on Disney + and we are having a Canadian/ Chinese fusion of a meal for our #movienightfriday. Now it is great how much representation was in the film between race, religion and even different ability if you watch the background characters, but also this was the first Disney/Pixar film set in Canada, specifically Toronto, Canada. So we first started with mapping out where Toronto is.

Then we did a virtual tour.
Then we moved on to learn about red pandas, because Turning Red features Mei Lee Ling turning into a giant red panda, which are one of the cutest creatures on earth.
We also learned that the Red Panda is actually more related to the Raccoon then a Panda through classification, which we worked on tracing out.
Then we watched a compilation on Tik Tok of Red Panda videos to laugh at their adorableness.

We hope you enjoy this lesson as much as we did.
